Purpose
The Alltricity Scholarship Foundation exists to provide financial support to qualified, deserving students pursuing studies related to the electric energy industry. Eligible fields include, but are not limited to, engineering, business, information systems, plant/line/distribution technology, line work, renewable energy, and other curricula preparing students for electric-industry careers.
Awards
Scholarships are offered in two formats:
- Alltricity Scholarship Foundation Scholarships: awards typically range from $1,500 to $3,000 or more.
- Alltricity Scholarship Foundation Named Scholarships: funds provided by individual or corporate donors and issued in the donor’s name.
Who may apply
You may apply if you are one of the following:
- a current high school senior,
- a high school graduate, or
- a current college/university undergraduate (freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior).
In addition you must meet one of these program-related conditions:
- You are enrolled in, or plan to enroll in, an electric-industry certificate/craft program (for example, lineman training or a renewable energy certificate). You must be able to supply details about the program and the accreditation status of the institution; or
- You are pursuing, or intend to pursue, an undergraduate degree with plans to enter the electric energy industry after graduation.
Mandatory requirements
- Be a permanent resident of the United States.
- Complete the online application fully.
Important eligibility notice
Do not apply if you receive more than 75% tuition reimbursement. Applicants receiving over 75% tuition reimbursement are ineligible for an Alltricity Scholarship Foundation award.
Post-award reporting
Scholarship recipients will be asked to provide periodic updates to Alltricity Network during their remaining college years. Information requested may include expected graduation date, anticipated degree, internships, and post-graduate employment plans.
How recipients are selected
A Selection Committee appointed by the Alltricity Scholarship Foundation evaluates all applications. Selection factors include:
- Career goals and aspirations in the electric energy industry
- Drive and motivation to succeed
- Service to school and community
- Academic record
2026 Scholarship applications — choose the correct form
There are three distinct Alltricity Scholarship Foundation application types for 2026. Please read the descriptions below and start the application that matches your status. Choosing the wrong application may affect your eligibility.
- Current high school senior: If you are a high school senior who will enroll in a 4-year (baccalaureate) program for the 2026–2027 academic year, use this application. High school seniors planning to enter a certificate or craft program should complete the Craft/Certificate application instead.
- Current 4-year/baccalaureate student: If you are presently a freshman, sophomore, or junior at a 4-year college or university, use this application. Previous Alltricity scholarship recipients who meet this status should also apply via this form.
- Craft (Lineman/Operations/etc.) / Certificate program: If you are enrolled in, or plan to enroll in, a craft or certificate program (including lineman or operations training), complete this application. Do not use this application if you are attending a 2-year college with the intent to transfer to a 4-year program to finish a bachelor’s degree. Previous scholarship recipients who qualify for this category should use this application.
