Brad Micklin is the lead attorney and managing partner of The Micklin Law Group, LLC. As a family law practitioner who specializes in fathers’ and men’s rights, Brad draws on his own educational path—earning a B.A. from Temple University (Pennsylvania) and his J.D. from Widener University of Law (Delaware)—to inform his work and his belief in the transformative power of education.
Scholarship overview
Brad provides a needs-based scholarship twice each year for driven students who require financial help to pursue their studies. One award is granted for the spring semester and one for the fall semester annually, with the aim of supporting the next generation as they pursue meaningful contributions to society.
Eligibility
- The scholarship is awarded semiannually and is based on financial need.
- Applicants must have been accepted to an accredited college or university located in the United States.
Award details
Two separate $1,000 scholarships are offered each year — one recipient for the spring term and a different recipient for the fall term.
Deadline and notification timeline
- Current application deadline: May 31, 2025 (for the Fall 2025 semester).
- Notification to the selected recipient: by July 15, 2025.
- Public announcement of the award: by August 31, 2025 (for Fall Semester 2025).
The winning student’s essay and photograph will be featured on our website.
