INTRODUCTION
Thank you for your interest in the Lemon Law Experts Scholarship Program. For more than a decade, the Lemon Law Experts have represented thousands of consumers across California and remain committed to supporting our community and the next generation of legal professionals. Each year we award one $500 scholarship to assist a deserving current or prospective law student with upcoming college or law school expenses.

This scholarship is offered in part due to the dedication of Founding Partner Jessica Anvar, who strongly supports higher education and encourages students to pursue their chosen career paths.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD AND TIMELINE
- Award amount: $500 (one recipient annually)
- Application deadline: August 31
- Winner announced: September 7

ELIGIBILITY
All applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
- Be either a current student enrolled in an accredited U.S. law school, or an undergraduate student at an accredited U.S. college/university who has applied to or will apply to law school.
- Hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

PROOF OF ENROLLMENT
You must upload a digital copy of official school correspondence confirming your enrollment or admissions status. Acceptable examples include (but are not limited to):
- Unofficial transcript
- Letter from the admissions office confirming deposit
- Official enrollment form
- Acceptance letter on school letterhead

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED OF FINALISTS
If selected as a finalist, you will be asked to provide:
- A valid transcript showing your current academic standing and a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- A copy of one of the following government-issued photo IDs: U.S. driver’s license, U.S. state ID card, or U.S. passport. These are the only acceptable forms of identification.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Complete every required field on the application form. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Submit an essay of at least 250 words. Essays below the 250-word minimum will be disqualified.

ADDITIONAL TERMS
- Applicants who already receive a full academic scholarship are not eligible.
- By applying, you agree that any scholarship funds awarded will be used solely for educational expenses (e.g., tuition, books, school supplies, living expenses related to school).
- If you are selected as the scholarship recipient, you grant Lemon Law Experts permission to publish your essay and photograph on our website and to use them for promotional purposes.
