Value: $1,000.00
Awards Available: 2
Deadline :

Bisnar Chase Personal Injury Lawyers, LLP offers a biannual scholarship totaling $1,500 to a student who, through a personal essay, shows a strong commitment to advancing their education and using their learning to benefit their community.
Award details
- Total award: $1,500 per scholarship cycle.
- $1,000 will be paid directly to the student whose essay best reflects dedication to education and community impact.
- $500 will be donated, in the winner’s name, to a 501(c)(3) charitable organization selected by the recipient. The donation will be announced on Bisnar Chase’s social media channels.
Schedule
- Bisnar Chase selects one winner in June and one in December each year.
- Next submission deadline: June 15, 2026 at 11:59pm PST.
- Winners are selected within 10 days after the deadline (timing may vary with the number of applications) and will be notified by email only.
Who may apply
- Applicants must submit a personal essay via email.
- Eligible students are those enrolled at a U.S. college or university (undergraduate or graduate) or students who are high school seniors.
- Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. The chosen winner will be asked to provide documentation verifying their GPA.
Essay guidance and expectations
- Your essay should be personal and reflect your enthusiasm for education and how you intend to use it to make a positive difference. We want to understand your motivations and see your personality—there are no right or wrong answers.
- Aim for about 500 words as a guideline, but you may write more if needed to tell your story fully.
- Originality is valued. Do not submit generic or AI-generated templates.
Topics you might cover
- How your community, life experiences, or role models have shaped you.
- Your educational journey so far and lessons learned.
- Your plans and goals for the future.
- Why this scholarship would matter to you.
Practical tips for a strong submission
- Stay focused: emphasize relevant experiences rather than listing volunteer hours unless they illustrate your story.
- Be clear and concise: make your essay easy to read while including enough detail to convey your points.
- Be concrete: use specific examples to explain why you deserve the award and how you’ll contribute to your community.
- Let your voice show: personal anecdotes and reflections help us get to know you.
Reminder: the $500 charitable donation must go to a registered 501(c)(3) organization chosen by the winner.
