George N. Boulukos EOCS Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Eastern Orthodox Committee on Scouting
Each year the EOCS awards two scholarships of $1,000 each. Recipients are chosen for demonstrating a strong love of God and a committed Orthodox Christian faith, as reflected in their activities and accomplishments in church life, scouting, academics, community service, and by a brief written statement.
Eligibility
1. You must be a high school senior enrolled in an accredited school. If you are homeschooled, please reach out to the Scholarship Committee Chair (see below) for application guidance.
2. You must be an active, registered member of one of the scouting organizations recognized by the EOCS: Scouting America (Scouts BSA, Exploring, Venturing, Sea Scouts), Girl Scouts of the USA, Trail Life USA, American Heritage Girls, or Camp Fire.
3. You must have achieved the Eagle Scout, the Gold Award, or the highest award available in your EOCS-recognized scouting organization. (Students in Exploring must have earned the Eagle Scout Award.)
4. You must be a communicant member of an Eastern Orthodox Christian Church that is recognized by the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the USA.
5. You must have received the EOCS Alpha Omega Religious Award.
