Introduction
The Nebraska Actuaries Club and the Nebraska Insurance Federation are offering scholarships for incoming freshmen who will enroll at colleges or universities in Nebraska. Eligible students are encouraged to submit an application—details and instructions are available on the application form.
Scholarship overview
- Award amounts: two scholarships of $6,000 and four scholarships of $2,000.
- The two $6,000 awards are reserved for students planning to attend any of the three University of Nebraska campuses.
- The four $2,000 awards are open to students who will attend any college or university located in Nebraska.
- Total possible award for an individual recipient: up to $6,000.
Who may apply
- Incoming freshmen who will be attending a Nebraska college or university.
- Graduates of any U.S. high school are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must plan to major in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics and show a clear interest in pursuing an actuarial career.
- Applicants must demonstrate mathematical ability.
